Miniature Australian Shepherd

Today I travelled all the way to Germany, 8 hours of train to go and visit the puppies and to choose the little guy that will come live with us in a few weeks.

And I don’t think that I have to say more, just post that one picture:

What a lovely creature! I went to a dog show for Australian Shepherds just last weekend here in Germany which might interest you in the future, in Duddenhausen near Hoya. A short write-up with pictures is here: http://private-intellectual.de/?p=866

  2. Oh my. Very cute puppy! I must say, I didn’t expect him to be quite so adorable.

    It’s the blue eyes.

He’s the cutest thing on earth!

  4. Auria Cortes says:

He’s colorful. He has every color in the rainbow.

    Those eyes look human.

  5. Chandler says:

Can I have him! Please????? He is tooooo cute. What are you going to name him?? Oh my goodness. I love him.

What an adorable puppy. I do believe it is the eyes.

  7. Snowflake says:

You sound a tiny bit skeptical? @Auria Cortes

And Chandler, his name will be “Blue” because of his eyes… and no, you can’t have him!

  12. Wow, so cute! Amazing blue eyes!

Aussies are very excitable and affectionate, especially when they greet you after you have been away for a while. You can find a really nice short article/personal story about a man and his Aussie and just how satisfying this can be at:

    http://loveubecause.com/2009/01/18/loveubecause-youve-been-dog-gone-away/

It first appeared “In Dog In Canada” in 2006 and subsequently in the “Aussie Times” in 2007

    Enjoy!

PS a couple of excellent digital photo illustrations accompany the story!

Well, I’m a sucker for big eyes and lots of fur anyway, but this little guy will steal your heart in a second. Make sure to spoil him and give him lots of love. Oh, and ham sandwiches. Pupplies HAVE to have LOTS of ham sandwiches. At leasts that’s what mine tells me. Of course, he’s lied before. . .

  15. Adam says:

Holy crap, that’s the cutest thing I’ve seen in my life!
